BMS Service Manager - NSW
We are looking for an experienced BMS Service Manager to lead a dynamic team delivering high-quality building management system services across New South Wales. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with leadership capabilities, responsible for overseeing service operations, managing client relationships, and ensuring optimal system performance across multiple sites.
As a key leader, you will provide expert guidance, support, and mentorship to a team of service engineers while ensuring outstanding service delivery to clients. If you're ready to take on a leadership role in building automation and drive operational excellence, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
◆ Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of BMS Service Engineers, providing technical support and career development opportunities.
◆ Service Operations Management: Oversee maintenance, fault-finding, and optimisation of BMS across various client sites.
◆ Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their systems run efficiently and meeting their service expectations.
◆ System Performance Optimisation: Identify opportunities for system improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
◆ Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to deliver seamless service and support for projects.
◆ Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to relevant safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
◆ Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed service records, prepare reports, and provide insights on system performance and improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
◈ Education: A technical certification or degree in Electrotechnology, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
◈ Experience: Proven track record in BMS servicing with experience in a leadership or management role.
◈ Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, control theory, and automation platforms.
Experience with BACnet, Modbus, LONworks, and BMS platforms like Niagara, Trend Controls, Distech Controls, or Automated Logic.
◈ Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
◈ Leadership & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and liaise with clients effectively.
◈ Additional: A valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel as required.
